It is important to realise that established Societies have over time produced publications like growing manuals, nomenclature lists from databases, new bloom catalogues and all sorts of interesting historical information.  There are also specific handbooks or papers on subjects like hybridizing, grafting etc. for the enthusiast.

It is so useful to have these publications in hard copy form.  Nevertheless, this web site and many others whose links you'll find here supply much of this information on line for your convenience.

Make sure you take time to visit these society sites as there is much to see and learn.
